Tuesday 01
CAMILLA NOCI & Os PARCEIROS
h 9:30 pm
Jazz Night

In the late 1960s, a blazing wave of creativity, called bossa nova, invaded Brazilian music with the new melodies that Jobim wrote with his "parceiros", collaborators, authors and musicians.
Camilla Noci, songwriter and roman interpreter, in love with Brazilian music in all its shades, from bossa nova to Mpb, chorus to samba, tries to revive her with the help of her "parceiros".
The trio plays Djavan's MPs, Ivan Lins, Vanessa da Mata, Ivete Sangalo, as well as the traditional ones by Antonio Carlos Jobim, Carlos Lyra, Caetano Veloso, Baden Powell, but also those typical of the Carnival and Pagoda tradition. The executive style is unmistakably the Brazilian one, a modern distillate of the essence of popular music, resulting in Bossanova's elegant rhythmic stylization of samba. However, there are also African and Jazz contaminations. The link between jazz and Brazilian music has always been very strong and dates back to the 1950s, when with the boss new rhythmic structures are reduced and brought back to their essence, transformed into a syncopated rhythm with an emphasis on rising, whose asymmetry recalls Unquestionably the jazz styles.

SUGAR MAMAS
h 10 pm
Blues Night
From Mississippi's most acquiescent blues, to the typically Trasteverine coffin, with Francesca De Fazi, "Roman Blues Woman", (the title of her latest album recorded in New Orleans), "pre-eminent" blues for feminine in Italy, and SUGAR MAMAS Band all female.
The fuse that sparked the profitable partnership with De Fazi / Torresi, after having followed long parallel paths, was the friendship and collaboration with Roberto Ciotti, in fact the two Roman musicians finally have the opportunity to meet on stage, just for a Tour, in the footsteps of the Italian bluesman, up to Senegal.
He joins them Carola Iapino, "lupetta solitaria" (as he likes to define), solid drummer with various experiences including a long tour with Massimo Ranieri.
A repertoire of customized classics and songs "invented in a traditional style", with the constant challenge of pushing beyond the schemes without ever knocking, but rather surprising, with irony, sensuality and a lot of consistency.
